The Aeronix Zipit Wireless Instant Messenger is for those of us who take our IM’ing really seriously. The Zipit supports the big 3 IM services, includes an 802.11b WiFi radio, 16-color greyscale LCD with QVGA (320×240) resolution, and a thumb keyboard with rubber buttons. Also included is a stereo DAC (digital audio converter) connected to a speaker and headphone jack.
And for all you open source penguin huggers out there who firmly believe the big commercial software companies should rank somewhere near the top of satan’s list of most favorite entities, right between serial goat rapists and the anti christ, Zipit runs on the Linux operating system.
