Akihabara News reports the development of 2 new Fujitsu VoIP telephones. The first, the WiPCom1000 (left) , resembling a regular telephone, has WiFi and a CF port for PHS cards with a connection speed up to 128Kbps. It runs on CE 4.2 and has a PXA272 CPU and will be available in Japan in September. The second model (right), the FR-V is geared toward video conferencing. It has a FR461 (400Mhz) CPU, 128Mb of RAM and 64Mb of ROM, WiFi b, a CF and SD port, Mpeg 4 video compression and the OS is based on the Red Hat Linux 2.4 kernel. No release date yet for the FR-V.
