Jeep HurricaneAt the January 2005 international auto show in Detroit, Jeep unveiled the Hurricane concept vehicle. It has two 5.7 litre V8 HEMI engines, 4 wheel steering and a zero turning radius! The two engines, one in the front and one in the back each deliver 335 horsepower and 370 lb-ft of torque – a total of 670 hp and 740 lb-ft of torque. Both HEMI engines in the Jeep Hurricane are equipped with the Chrysler Group Multi-Displacement System (MDS). Depending on the driver’s needs, the Hurricane can be powered by 4-, 8-, 12- or 16-cylinders. On the road it can go from 0-60 in less than five seconds. Still no word on when this one will be showing up in your neighbors driveway.
