Wild XBox 360 Graphics / Photos

Fuad Abazovic from TheInquirer.com has just released photos of a demo of the upcoming XBox 360 graphics capability. In his report he states:
The guy in charge of the demo told us that the graphic part is much more powerful than even the upcoming R5XX, series and that ATI’s desktop unit will match Xbox 360 graphics with a next generation scheduled for next year.
The Rubi model was rendered with 70,000 polygons while some of its elements had as many as 120,000 polygons per character. The most demanding scene had the dreamlike number of one million polygons per scene.
One million polygons? Graphics of that detail would be about as close to resembling real life as you can get… for now at least. I’m not a hard core gamer but I would love to get my hands on that XBox 360 for a few days.

Everytime I read ANYTHING about the 360, i just go nuts. I know that it’s going to set the pace for the next generation, I’m just wondering how long it’s going to take programmers to tap into its full potential. I feel like they still haven’t totally maxed out the potential of PS2 and the current X Box, but yeah, I’m not a hard core gamer, but I’m going to get this system soon after its release.

Good morning.
I am thinking of buying an Xbox360 and I found this blog via google. I would like to know if any of your blog readers can strongly recommend it? I have read some reviews and it seems to be good, but i would like to try and get as many opinions as possible before parting with my cash.
Any help would be great. Cool blog by the way.
Bill.
