Zinside, a french company is offering the Ubuntu H2, the first Linux bootable o/s solution on an USB micro hard drive for 135 EUR. The H2 is a 3GB USB device that challenges the notion that dongles are only good for portable storage by being the first USB hard drive with a full onboard OS featuring the OpenOffice.org office-productivity suite. The device is bootable from any PC with a x86 processor that supports boot via USB.
Although it’s one of the smallest portable USB drives, the Ubuntu H2 Micro USB drive can easily handle sharing digital photos, MP3s, video clips with friends and even homework. Making it a great way to move files from one computer to the next.
