How To - Pick a Cell Phone PlanI don’t think I’m alone in dreading the vertiable jungle that one must navigate when it comes time to renew or update their cell phone service. You’ve got to decide on the carrier, which phone do you want and all those different plans. Luckily for folks in the US, there’s a web site that’ll help make the process a lot easier.

The Cell Phone Finder, put out by MyRatePlan.com, is a cool Flash-based web page where you start off by entering your zip code and whether you’re looking for a single or family plan. From there, you’ll be taken to a page that provides an overview of what’s available to you locally depending on the carriers and plans for your region. With that, you can start to weed through which specific options and features you’re most interested in having and the application will pare down what is actually available to you.

If any of our esteemed readers know of similar types of web sites for folks in other countries, please let us know.
