Recently, those wacky folks on Attack of the Show on the G4 channel pimped out a Big Wheel. As you can see from the photo, they tricked her out with a DVD player, GPS, neon lights, extra wheels and assorted other bling-bling. You can check out more photos at the show’s web site here.

Now, I thought this was cool in a slightly bizarro way, but then things got a little weirder for me when I discovered via this Makezine blog post that there is actually a whole modding community that exists for folks who not only alter their Big Wheels, but take part in various events. There are Big Wheel Endurance Rides, Big Wheel Classic Drag Races, Big Wheel Rally’s and of course the Moonlight Classic midnight ride. You can find out more at the BigWheelRally web site here. They’ve got modding how-to’s as well as a store to procure your own Big Wheels.
