It’s here! It’s here! The eagle has landed! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the big uber-important announcement from Apple and Motorola about their much – too much – rumored iTunes uber-cell phone has been made! Does everybody feel better now? Good!
Here’s the goodies…
The uber-cell phone iPody-like device has a 100 song capacity and it of course uses the iTunes interface. It’s a quad band GSM phone with color screen, built-in camera with stereo speakers and a mobile headset. One button access to the iTunes interface, USB 2.0 connection for transferring of songs and this baby also boasts random autofill or manual fill. PC or Mac (Hey! Some people use Linux you know!). It’s only 3.7 ounces. In terms of display, it wimps out with just 262 colors @ 176 x 220 to support the VGA camera which has 4x zoom and video recording capabilities. Estimated talk time equals 9 hours. Oh yeah, it also has bluetooth.
Pricing in the US via Cingular will be $249.99 USD with a two-year contract. Available in the US as of this coming weekend.

Is it just me, or was that really anti-climatic?
