XBox 360 US Launch Will be Nov 22
September 15, 2005 | In: Gaming Systems, General, Home Entertainment
It’s official! Yesterday at the Tokyo Game Show, Microsoft announced the launch dates for the much anticipated XBox 360. North America will see it on the shelves Nov 22 (just before the American Thanksgiving holiday). Europe gets to play starting Dec 2 and Japan follows up on Dec 10.
They also announced that there will be 25 to 40 games available for the console’s launch. Some of the bigger titles will include Final Fantasy XI, Need for Speed – Most Wanted, Resident Evil 5 and Call of Duty 2. Pricing is still the same with the base model at $299, and the premium (actually useful) model going for $399 (both USD).
You can find more details from Microsoft’s announcement in this CNET article.

Good morning.
I am thinking of buying Call of Duty 2 for the pc and I found this blog via google. I would like to know if any of your blog readers would recommend this game? I have read some reviews and it seems to be a good game, but i try to get as many opinions as possible before parting with my cash.
Any help would be great. Cool blog by the way.
Bill.
