You know, being a professional blog writer is a cool gig. Getting to work at home, I don’t have to worry about stuff like bathing or putting clothes on, though there’s still that nagging task of actually having to get out of bed and walk all the way to the other room to do my job. Luckily, there’s this Japanese retailer that’s offering a solution to my problem.

Thanko.jp (Rare Mono Shop) has these new computer desks that are designed to allow the use of a normally un-portable desktop PC while you’re in bed or on the couch. Here’s the Babelfish translation of the product page. They’re available for 19,800 Yen or a little more than $175 USD. I can’t tell from the Thanko.jp web site whether they ship to North America though.

Now, let’s see. Once that desk arrives, all I’ll have left to do is teach the dog how to pay the pizza delivery dude and then train the cats how to make coffee and I’ll be all set. Sweet!
