This isn’t some replica, it’s the real deal. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the actual yellow MFP Interceptor that Max drove in the original Mad Max movie before he got mad and switched to the black interceptor was recently up for sale on eBay.

This 1976 Ford Falcon 500 XB (ex Victoria Police Interceptor) packs a 351 2V 600 Holley, FMX auto tranny, 9 inch diff 2.75 gears and a GT suspension. The current owner attempted to sell it on eBay but didn’t recieve any bids on a start bid of AU $20,000 (a little over $15,000 USD) and an undisclosed reserve. One would then assume that it’s still out there and available for purchase. Unfortunately, unless you’re an Aussie (eBay seller is in Sydney), the shipping might be a little pricey.
