MILA Concept Car - NG Powered Single SeaterNow this is sexy! Magna Steyr, the auotmotive engineering firm, are the folks behind this project. Dubbed the Magna Innovation Lightweight Auto (MILA), this concept car is a lightweight and aerodynamic single seater with a seriously sexy design.

MILA features a 1.6 liter 4-cylinder engine has been modified to run solely on compressed natural gas (CNG) and can produce 150 hp of power. While the powerplant may seem small, consider the vehicle’s light weight and you’ll see how it can boast a top speed of 200 kph (125 mph) and an acceleration of 0 to 60 mph of 6.9 seconds.

With it’s efficient burning natural gas engine, the car qualifies for the Advanced Technology Partial Zero Emission Vehicle category under the state of California’s strict emmision laws. While Magna Steyr doesn’t have plans to market the vehicle on their own, they are willing to partner up with anyone looking to make something marketable out of the MILA concept.
