Make Private Cellphone Calls In Public

cell cell cellular phone privacy screen We’ve all been startled by loudmouth cellphone talkers in malls and restaurants, but if this strange cellphone privacy screen contraption makes it into the mainstream, those days will be a thing of the past. According to Core77’s design blog:

“Cell Cell”: A felt cylinder that hangs from the ceiling so you can duck under and make private calls/make out.

I guess it’s acceptance by the public would depend on a number of factors though, like, how claustrophobic you are, whether you really care if people hear your private conversations or – you just want to be an idiot, or how stupid your legs look sticking out the bottom of a felt cylinder.

Kind of reminds me of bathroom stalls where the bottom of the doors are a little too high.
