Every now and then, someone comes up with a software app that’s so cool, so innovative that you say to yourself “I wish I had thought of that!”. Well, that’s what went through my mind a few minutes ago while surfing around, waiting for my second cup of coffee to brew.
Caffeine Finder GPS enables you to use the U.S. government’s military satellites to locate the nearest CUP OF COFFEE — at any of 45,000 coffee-selling establishments in its database. It will also provide a map, the address and even a review of the establishment. You need a Blackberry to use Caffeine Finder, and a Nextel account to take advantage of the GPS feature.
Of course, if you’re in a familiar town and you love coffee, there’s no excuse for not knowing where the nearest coffee shop is, but for those who travel a lot this would be ideal.

It has 45,000 places in its database, provides a map, address and even a review of said coffee establishment. […]
