It’s no longer called a stereo or surround sound system, nooooo…. Binaura has renamed it a “Sound Enviroment.”

The Binaura system has three independent volume controls. Master volume, center-channel volume and subwoofer volume. Increase the level of center channel volume to hear the conversations more clearly without increasing the background sound, or increase the level of subwoofer volume to boost the low-frequency sound effects of action-packed movies.

And all this happens through a single speaker unit, the small grey one pictured in the photo.
