Google on Motorola Cellular PhonesGoogle has been accessable on web enabled cellphones for a while now, but cellular phone and handheld giant Motorola is taking it one step further. Businessweek reports that the big M has struck up a deal with the big G to implement a Google icon on their handsets.

Motorola Inc., the world’s second-largest maker of cell phones, late Thursday said it entered a global mobile search agreement to give its customers easy access to Google Inc.’s popular search engine through its handsets. The company said it will integrate a Google icon onto certain Internet-optimized handsets for users to connect to Google with one click. The devices will be distributed starting in the first quarter this year.

No doubt this deal will more firmly entrench the word “Google” into the english language as a verb. Also, if this Google penetration into our daily lives gets any more intimate, condom sales will skyrocket.
