Apple Intel MacBook ProBig news around the gadgetsphere from Apple. Their much anticipated Intel MacBook Pros are out, and they have faster processors than was originally reported.

The Inquirer sez:

The $2,500 machine includes a 2GHz Core Duo and ships this week. The $2,000 machine has a 1.83GHz Core Duo and ships next week. The $2,500 15-inch machine includes 1GB of 667MHz DDR memory, a 100GB S-ATA hard drive, a Superdrive optical drive. It also uses a PCI Express ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 chip which has 256MB of GDDR3 memory, a DVI port, a Gigabit Ethernet port, a built Airport wi-fi and Bluetooth, and also has two USB 2.0 ports and a Firewire 400 port.

Gizmodo sez:

The $1999 MacBook, previously announced to be shipping with a 1.67GHz processor, now includes a 1.87GHz Intel Core Duo; the $2500 model now ships with a 2.0GHz Intel Core Duo, up from 1.83GHz. The notebooks now top at at 2.16GHz as a build-to-order option. Best of all, the clock speed increase comes at no extra cost to the consumer.
