Nintendo Revolution

The specifications of Nintendo Revolution – next gaming system developed by Nintendo – have popped up at IGN – and let me tell you, the specs are not impressive when comparing to PS3 and Xbox360, the other 2 main gaming systems around. But that’s one point that the big N has made, this console is not intended to compete with the others in terms of graphics and all the other more power crap, but it has qualities of its own like price and size.

So, here it is:

  • Powered by IBM “Broadway” CPU @ 729MHz
  • 88MB of ram
  • Graphics provided by ATI “Hollywood” @ 243Mhz

Not much more information for now… But as you see, comparing the Nintendo Revolution to Xbox360 is like comparing a Ferrari with a Beatle.

Take note:

Unlike PS3 and Xbox360, the Nintendo Revolution won’t have an international launch date. That’s good and bad at the same time, you’ll have to wait some time depending where you live, but the chances of Rev being sold out are much less.

You know, I’m a conservative and I’m ALL for capitalism, but this hypocritical OBSESSION with the “best, biggest, and most expensive” is just getting really stupid. People are such idiots these days, one second they hate Cheney because he’s a ceo of a successful company, but the next second they want the most expensive, strongest gaming system to “win”. Make up your damn minds people, either you all hate rich people or you don’t, including hating successful gaming companies. You can’t have it both ways.
