NY Times with a new look
April 3, 2006 | In: Breaking News, General, Internet

Since I talked about a re-design on Slashdot, why not mention a good re-design that happened at NY Times…?
That’s right, on Sunday (2nd of April) the US newspaper got a new design at their website – www.nytimes.com – there are new features and more attention to the blogs.
We also wanted to give our readers a greater voice and sprinkle a little more serendipity around the site by providing prominent links to a list of most e-mailed and blogged articles, most searched for information and popular movies. A new tab at the top of the page takes you directly to all our most popular features.
A new section is the MyTimes - will let you organize your favorite Web sources of information — from NYTimes.com and elsewhere — and view them at a glance – it sounds like a simple RSS Reader (or not), but since I didn’t register and try the service there is no way to confirm this.
Read the Editors Note for more information.
