Apple News – New MacBook and…

The MacBook Pros are just part of history right now, the new thing that everyone is talking about are the new MacBooks (also with Intel Core Duo processors, like the Mac Book Pros) with a 13-inch screen (unlike the Pros that only had 15-inch and 17-inch screens).

With the two-in-one Intel processors, the new series are 5 times faster than the last iBook, or so they say. Actually there is a table which shows the performance differences between the G4’s the new MacBooks – check it out.

In terms of performance, the best you can have is 2.oGhz combined with 2GB of RAM and 80GB of storage capacity, with an option of another hard-drive with 120GB.

Take note:

- Another new and important feature is the color option, for the first time ever there is going to be a black MacBook.
- Price starts at $1,099 and there are 3 models: 1.8Ghz, 2.0Ghz in white, and 2.0Ghz in black

Along with the new MacBook came a new Apple Store at NYC – a building with a sleek design (read: glass cube) that makes you think if what you’re really seeing is a store.

Let’s see, we talk about Apple and relate it to nice designs, new stuff, “futuristic”, good customer support and good stores. This one isn’t an exception, besides the entrance being a glass cube, the actual store is downstairs (read: underground) and it will be open 24/7.
