If you liked the Never Ending Photos, I’m sure you’re going to love The Global Mosaic – A nice and well accomplished site that couldn’t have success without the help of all the visitors.
Here is the deal: In the site there are 1,000 tiles with different colors, each visitor can move any of the tiles to create an image.
The final result can be pretty good sometimes, last time I went there the image was a women wearing a swimsuit. But it can also be considered a disaster abstract art, like the one on the image.
But… the idea isn’t original, I remember a site that used the same system but instead of tiles, it used letters. Most of the times that was a big mess and no one could create a word, name or sentence, but it was fun nonetheless.

Align tiles: Holding down the shift key when you release a tile to make it align neatly.
