The Catholic Clock – Time for the Word
June 16, 2006 | In: General, Home Entertainment

The Time of the Word clock is for all the catholic people that are too lazy interested in reading the bible and want to know some of the famous verses before starting the reading journey. The mechanism behind this device is very high-tech: there is a little screen that displays 380 different bible verses each hour that passes.
It also shows the time and comes in a horrible wood block.

Thanks for the insult. How about ditching the “lazy catholic” bit.

What makes this clock catholic?
The Ship-of-Fools site mentions nothing about it being catholic — nor does the description.
I’m confused.

Catholic Dude, didn’t mean it as an insult, the lazy catholic part has been ditched!
Confused, the 380 verses of the bible displayed on the clock – make it catholic.

How do the 380 verses make it specifically Catholic instead of Protestant?
Are they only from the Apocrypha?

[...] This is quite a useful tool since it is capable of containing up to 160 hours of audio messages, it must be worth something and the Ship of Fools talks about listening to the Old and New Testaments with it – this way you can listen to everything God related every day. Much like the Catholic Clock that had bible verses, the GodPod also has that special assignment. [...]
