Samsung 3-inch LCD Screen for Digital Cameras

Last friday Samsung announced a 3-inch LCD screen with VGA quality to be used in digital cameras. They kill 3 rabbits with 1 new device:
- better resolution format which is 640×480
- reduces image flickering
- lowers the power consumption
Our new LCD panel will make viewing of digital pictures distinctly more impressive on camera screens, personal multi-media players and other products requiring high-image resolution and low-power consumption.
It will only become available to the public in the beginning of 2007 but there is an exhibition at IMID 2006 in Korea, on August 23.
