It was announced earlier today on a German blog that a new Windows Media Player version would be released during the day, some people couldn’t believe it while others were confident and wanted to test the new software. That dream came true and Windows Media Player 11 Beta 2 is now available for everyone to download, experiment and tell how good/crappy it is.
The new features don’t seem to be very important, on the Release Notes there is some chit-chat about “fixing issues”, “additional online stores” and “changes to sharing digital media content”. I’m still trying to figure out if the new features are good or bad but can’t decide…

PS - I just downloaded the 22.5MB of data but I have some fear of installing so I’ll just let the file sit on my desktop for a while.
