The popular blogging system WordPress has added a new feature called avatars, basically it’s an image that stays associated with your account and is displayed in the latest posts, comments and tag surfers. If you are interested in this but don’t know how to add an avatar, there is a step-by-step tutorial at MacDaddy, really easy to follow even for senior citizens.
There is a similar system called Gravatar (independent site with no connection to WP) but in this case the avatar is only displayed on the comments of gravatar enabled sites.
PS - If you go to the WordPress post related to the avatars and see comments full of little images, you will notice it looks pretty good - check it yourself.
