New patches available for Windows – time to update

Important message for the Gadgetizer visitors that are Windows users:

Microsoft announced yesterday new patches to fix security holes on Windows and Office, I noticed this right away because I was using the computer and the little balloon saying New Updates Available (or something like that) popped up on the bottom right corner near the clock.

This means it’s time to update Windows because critical vulnerabilities is something we don’t want.

If you don’t have the Windows Update feature enabled to check when there are new patches available, I suggest turning it on. Go to the Control Panel and click on the Automatic Updates icon to complete the settings.
