The Breathing Earth is a flash presentation that displays the following information of every country in the world in real time:
- carbon dioxide emission levels
- birth and death rates
When passing the mouse over a country, it reveals the population and how many 1000 Tones of CO2 are emitted in a specific time, for example: in Portugal every 8.4 minutes there are 1k Tonnes of CO2 that are emitted; 1 person dies in every 4.8 minutes and there is a newborn every 4.7 minutes.
Japan, China and the US seem to be the the countries that emit most dioxide carbon, on the other hand we have the African countries with a low percentage.
