Picasa

The Google software for managing and editing images also known as Picasa, is finally out of beta version.

While it has plenty of options on how to organize your photos, the image effects features don’t stay far behind but those were already available on the beta version. What is really new on this last version?

  • Share photos online – upload by only using the “Web Album”
  • Nested folder view
  • Save changes to disk
  • Improved import
  • Screensavers
  • Geotagging – works with Google Earth
  • Larger thumbnails – bigger and better thumbnails
  • New RAW features – support of new cameras like Canon 30D, Nikon D200 and others

Picasa is a light (but good) application, you should seriously give it a try:
