So, I will ask again: are finger print security systems reliable?
The answer is no according to Myth Busters. Watch the following video to see how they cracked up a two different finger print systems: one on a laptop, the other on a door lock.
They didn’t only use one technique, more like 3 ways of copying the fingerprint: latex copy, a ballistic gel and last but not least, a simple paper photocopy that also worked.
