Extra Normal Watch – magic

Extra Normal Watch

The following description of the Extra Normal Watch might not make a lot of sense if you don’t watch the animation of the clock in action.

At first glance, an elegant, minimal watch. But things are not so simple. A subtle effect is taking place, as elusive numbers pass in and out of view.

So, the black pointer is like a fake transparent pointer, behind it there are the actual hour numbers of the clock that will appear and disappear according to the position of the pointer – it’s easier to understand after watching the demo.

The Extra Normal Watch is designed by Ross McBride and is included in the Normal Timepieces Collection. It’s available at a Japanese online store called Styleshop Nuts and costs ¥23,100 (close to $200).
