5-in-1 Device aka Notebook Mate

The little white box you are seeing on the image is the Notebook Mate which can do 5 different tasks:
- work as a portable speaker with the 3 watts of powerful sound
- work as a USB Hub with the 3 ports available, it’s so actual it uses the USB2.0 version
- charge 4 AA batteries (Ni-MH), it has an intelligent quick charge feature that must mean something like low-time charging
- charge USB devices
- USB speaker + a line-in jack
This diversity of functions in one device only can say something about its quality, sometimes it’s hard enough to get one single device to work properly so when the Notebook Mate comes and shows a 5-in-1, just think of the good and bad things that can happen. On one had we have the opportunity to playback songs and charge batteries at the same time (which is good), but if one of the functions stops working we go from 5 to 4 and maybe 3 functions, in a device which looks kind of hard to repair (which is bad).
