Bigger, Better, Pimped Out Gadgetizer

Pimped Out Yea mon, we be pimpin now!

We read our stats here at Gadgetizer.com and noticed a few things, like the fact that 99% of you have Javascript turned on and 94% are reading us using screen resolutions of 1024X768 or larger. So we got rid of the narrowassed site and bumped it up to to fit your screens better.

Not only that, but we made the text and headlines bigger so you can read it better, made the content column wider so we can fit bigger pictures in there, put the main stuff in the header so it’s easy to find, and installed a full blown AJAX commenting system that slides your comments into view.

Also, we turned full comment moderation off. That’s right, all you gotta do now is type in your comments, then type in the word in the picture below and click submit. Your comment shows up right away.

I can’t remember what else we did at the moment, cause today’s my birthday and someone has poured a half bottle of rum into me, but…

Oh yeah, we got a new Gadgetizer robot girl. She’s in the top left hand corner of the site and she’s a freakin’ hottie if you ask me, although I prefer women with more hair, but I’ll take an aluminum coated bald one any day.

So folks, if you find anything quirky on the site, or out of alignment, or pushed somewhere it shouldn’t be, contact us and let us know. If you do, it would help if we knew what OS/Browser combo you’re using. That way we can pinpoint the problem quicker.
