October 18, 2006 | In: Furniture, General, Office Equipment
The Ypsilon Office Chair is certainly one of the best chairs there is in terms of comfort, usability and looks. Sure the design is a bit awkward but that is mainly due to all the possibilities of customization it offers.
You can adjust the following 10 settings on the Ypsilon chair:
(click on the settings links for examples)
- Seat Height
- Seat Depth
- Height of Back – pelvic and
lumbar areas should be supported with no strain placed upon the back muscles - Headrest – makes the neck muscles relax
- Backrest Pressure – helps your back and creates support for every position
- Backrest Position – cool to give your head some some rest
- Lumbar Support – supports the pelvic and lumbar areas while preventing the pelvis from tilting backwards
- Armrest Height
- Armrest Angle
- Armsupports
It was created by 2 Italian designers – Mario and Claudio Bellini – who also offer their services to popular companies such as Fiat and Artemide.
