After the latest Firefox release – version 2.0 – the folks at SpreadFirefox decided to create new banners to promote the browser.
These banners come at a good time because yesterday there was some info published on the net related to Firefox 2.0 and the number of downloads:
- 2 million downloads in 24 hours
- 30 downloads a second
When comparing these stats with IE7 which got over 3 million downloads on the first 4 days after the release, it’s safe to say what the internet people like more.
