Survey of the most Expensive Electronics Purchases Yeilds Surprising Results

The folks over at ecoustics.com surveyed 3,176 users from Oct 1 – 31, 2006 who entered a contest to win an Orb Audio Speaker System. The purpose of the survey was to find out what were the most expensive electronics items their users owned and how much they spent on each item.

While the actual items purchased and their prices come as no big surprise, they’re interesting nonetheless. The thing that caught my eye was the fact that 48% of all the electronics purchases covered in the survey were influenced by, or made by women.
