New Sony Vaio G to weigh less than a kilogram

I’m a bit of an admitted Apple geek and user, but if I had to switch over to a Windows-only machine, this sweet little Sony Vaio G notebook would certainly be the ticket. It has a 12.1 inch screen and weighs less than a kilogram (that’s less than 2.2 pounds, though less than a kilogram sounds much sexier). It manages this by having a carbon frame.
What is even more impressive is the 12.5 hour battery life in ’stamina’ mode. That’s quite an impressive claim, if ’stamina’ mode is useful and not too hobbled.
