Auto-Power-Saving-Mouse
November 3, 2006 | In: General, Peripherals

Now here is an interesting mouse concept that saves battery power and creates a cool effect whenever the battery needs to be replaced.
The R7-20D has 4 levels of auto-power-saving, the basic idea is that depending of how long the mouse is unused the battery consumption gets lower and lower, for example:
- if you don’t use the mouse for 5 seconds it will enter the sleeping mode and only use 0,8mA (milliamperes)
- in case the unused time gets longer and reaches 70 seconds, the mouse will enroll on the deep sleeping mode and use less power – 0.1mA
- and finally, after 30 minutes of being unused the mouse will turn off automatically
The other nice feature is that the color of the wheel will change whenever there is a need to change the battery.
