ReviewMe and new Gadgetizer Sponsored Posts

We’ve often thought of doing sponsored posts here at Gadgetizer.com, whereby we write an ‘advertorial’ style post in exchange for payment from an advertiser. The reason we never did this option up to this point is twofold:
1. Finding advertisers is a daunting task, unless you hire a dedicated sales team to do the work.
2. There’s always a problem with the disclosure aspect and most advertisers are not willing to give us full editorial control over the content of such posts.
But now now a new service has launched that satisfies both the above problems for us.
It’s called ReviewMe, it just launched today, is run by a group of highly ethical and successful bloggers who understand what it takes to make an income with blogs and has been talked about favorably by numerous high profile people in not only the blogosphere, but mainstream media as well.
So we here at Gadgetizer.com have decided to give ReviewMe (http://www.reviewme.com) atry for the next 2-3 months as our Sponsored Post ad brokerage.
Over the coming days and weeks, a few the posts written here on Gadgetizer.com will be Sponsored posts and will be clearly indicated as such. They will have the words Sponsored Post in bold red text at the top of each.
When writing these sponsored posts, we will always give our honest reviews of any product or service featured and will never give anything a positive review just because we get money to write about it. The ReviewMe gives us that control. If it hadn’t, we would never have signed up for their service.
We will never fill this site with these sponsored posts. 1 Sponsored Post per day is the maximum we will ever do and that level may never be reached, but it is the maximum amount of sponsored posts you will see here.
Also, if any potential advertisers are interested in having a sponsored post appear here on this site, please visit and sign up at Reviewme.com and look search for Gadgetizer in their listings.
