NHL fans: get your freak on!
On the past months there were several successful tries from NHL to remove copyrighted content from YouTube, but last Wednesday both companies have reached an agreement and decided to create (what I suppose to be) a special channel with NHL highlights – it is a win situation for the two companies and everything is legit. YouTube gets more (legal) videos and NHL gets more fans + revenue from those clips.
Along the same lines and betting more on the internet world, NHL made another deal to offer full length versions of old and new hockey games, they will be for sale and work in coordination with Google Video, Yahoo and Comcast.
