Logitech Z10 Interactive Speaker System

The Logitech Z-10 speakers are different from the rest when it comes to the connectivity part, instead of using normal cables to connect with the desktop or laptop, this sound system makes use of USB2.0 to get an “easy to install and ready to use” speakers.
The Z-10 have a peculiar design and a considerable height, more exactly 10-inches each. There is a small LCD screen on the right woofer that can display plenty of information if you install the free applets made by the community, such as: date, time, RAM and CPU usage, a tamagotchi (?), RSS feeds, and more. To control these features (and others related with the music and songs) there are touch sensitive controls on the right woofer.
EverythingUSB has come up with a detailed Logitech Z10 review about the design, performance, audio quality and other little details. The conclusion comes close to this:
- Logitech has put together a real exquisite set of speakers with the Z-10. Sound quality is phenomenal, with zero distortion and no overemphasized frequencies.
- Though there’s no kick to the bass, the 3″ mini woofers do an excellent job providing depth to a wide range of musical genres, and the 1″ tweeters sound exceptionally crisp.
- Although I would have liked to see Mac support and more responsive controls, the Z-10 is highly recommended for any Windows users looking for a 2.0 desktop stereo system that reaks of quality.
