Gmail Is So Smart That…

Gmail

I don’t even need to tell Gmail in which language I’m writing an email and the Check spelling system can automatically discover if it is in English or Portuguese and afterwards make the necessary changes if there is a mistake on a word. How cool is that?

On other Google Mail news they have been adding bits & pieces from time to time – little details that count a lot for fans of this webmail service. But on the other hand with a free service comes problems which you can’t do nothing about, and Google has been having of those problems like users not being able to receive email for days or weeks, or a security problem with the following description:

Basically, a website could download your entire Gmail contact list by adding a bit of code to their server and exploiting Google’s JSON API.

I’m glad I never had a problem with Gmail besides a couple of emails that were marked as spam when they were legitimate. Did I mention that the Gmail storage capacity is still growing? It stopped sometime during New Year but at this time it is still becoming bigger with 2803.813712 megabytes (and counting) of free storage.
