eBay Frauds And Shill Bidding

eBay

After yesterday’s story about the domain name, comes another interesting story of eBay sellers and shill bidding which is making bids on your selling items using difference accounts – it is illegal by the way. The Times online ran an investigation on this issue and found out that it is true, they even got one person admitting it which is actually pretty fun to listen – Download mp3s – part1 and part2.

The person in question goes by the name of Eftis Paraskevaides who makes £15,000 per month selling items on eBay.

Well, if I put something really expensive (up for sale) and I was concerned that it was going for nothing, I would phone a friend of mine, even a client of mine who buys from me, and say: For Christ’s sake, I sell you 100 quids’ worth of items a week . . . just put two grand on it, will you?

And this is my friends, is how eBay works!
