Nintendo DS – Number 1 In Hardware Sales In Japan

Gaming devices are always a big hit on Asia, so it is nice to compare which ones are the most famous not only in terms of quality, but in number of units sold.
With that in mind, the results are clarifying that Nintendo DS wins the battle against other products and companies like Sony and Microsoft, check the results of number of units sold during (un)specific date ranges, probably 1 week:
- Nintendo DS – 146,073
- Nintendo Wii – 65,700
- Playstation 3 – 18,700
- Xbox360 – 6,130
Nintendo has sold 35 million DS units worldwide to become the best-selling handheld in current international markets. It’s rival, the multi-functional PSP, has sold around 24 million units worldwide.
