The hot company Digital Foci has announced Photo Safe – a portable hard drive for the masses (of photographers).

Supporting the most common memory cards and with storage capacity values between 40GB, 60GB and 120GB, this is the hard drive that takes only 5 minutes to transfer 1GB of data from a card. PhotoSafe features a shiny LCD screen that provides lots of information, such as:

track the current copy task

shows percentage completed and the number of files copied

make a partition on the hard drive

LCD shows you which partition is active

Price? $140 for the 40GB version that will only become available on April.
