SoundBug – The Surface Player
March 15, 2007 | In: General, Peripherals, Personal Gadgets

As strange as it might sound this device called SoundBug is suppose to make any type of surface (be it a door, windows, desk, etc) play sounds or just music.
How does it work:
SoundBug creates a sounding-board out of the surface to which it is attached, allowing the user to listen to music/voice without using a conventional speaker or headset.
The real explanation of this device comes from a rare British moment of inspiration, thanks to the Brits!
Other features of SoundBug include a connection to normal 3.5mm stereo jack sockets, featuring a maximum sound output of 75db, and being compatible with many devices such as MP3 players, hand-held game consoles, laptop computers and others.
It costs $70.
