Tesla Roadster Electric Car

With the gas price rising every week or month, the news about electric cars are always good. In this case the Tesla Roadster seems like a fine exemplar of what these kind of cars should feature. Lets see:

  • 0-60mph in 4 seconds only
  • good looking “sportive” style
  • charge it on normal wall socket
  • full charge takes 7 hours and offers 250 miles

Taking in consideration in which part of the day you charge the car (best is at night), and also knowing that the car gets the equivalent of 135 miles to the gallon, the final result is paying like 1 cent per mile.

It costs $92,000 and will become available for purchase this fall.

Unlike a gasoline-powered car, which has very little torque at low RPMs, the Tesla reaches 100 percent torque from the instant it starts forward. You don’t wait even a moment for that acceleration to kick in. It kicks in immediately. The effect is like nothing you’ve ever experienced.
