Nintendo Says Pokemon Games Will Be A Hit For Sure

According to Nintendo the “Pokemon Diamon” and “Pokemon Pearl” games to be released in the U.S. this Sunday (22 April) will definitely be a hit, and most probably end up in the top selling lists of 2007. These games are for the hand-held console aka Nintendo DS.
Why is Nintendo so confident about the success of the new Pokemon games?
Basically because the pre-sales are already more than 533,000. Take in consideration that on previous years the pre-orders for Pokemon games were less (like half of what they are now) and still it became a hit, so just think of the high selling numbers that the new games can achieve.
The games, which are the latest installment in the popular animated “Pokemon” franchise that has spawned trading cards, toys and films, will introduce players to more than 100 new Pokemon characters.
Personally I dislike Pokemon but I know that there is a big legion of fans, so I’m not very doubtful about the conquers the little fellow can make.
