GoDaddy Refunds ICANN Fee overpayment – Get Your 3 Cents

GoDaddy

The popular domain registrar GoDaddy was kind enough to send an email to its customers about the recent drop of the ICANN transaction fee which was $.25 on the past and is currently tagged at $.22.

This recent reduction made GoDaddy refund all the people that registered domains since July 1, 2006. So if you are one of the lucky ones check out your account that is suppose to have a credit of $.03 per each domain, that is, if the date corresponds to the one said previously.

PS – I don’t have any “relation” with the dad-called company, only a normal client. What I find odd (or good for GoDaddy only) is that I’m a client at other registrars but GoDaddy was the only one that sent the info by email + refunded. What about the others?

I got ripped off by them. I can’t even get the store credit converted to cash. I think there are talks of a Class Action Lawsuit. Bob Parsons has effectively stolen millions of dollars from their customers. Just think of the amount of money they took with the amount of customers and each domain they own!!!
