Google Reader For Nintendo Wii

Gaming consoles like the Nintendo Wii that have access to the internet need special software to perform some tasks, like reading RSS feeds.

With that in mind the Google staff came up with a special Google Reader for the Wii that presents a new interface and a cool feature which is related to using the Wiimote buttons to browse the information.

Now that you can read your favorite RSS feeds by using Nintendo Wii + Google Reader, don’t forget to add the Gadgetizer RSS Feed.

Here are some tips for the controls:

Google Reader can take advantage of the buttons on your Wiimote, letting you navigate easily from the comfort of your couch:

- up/down: scroll up/down
- right/left: next/previous item
- 1 button: show subscriptions
- 2 button: show links

When showing subscriptions:

- up/down: previous/next subscription
- right: select current subscription
- left: close
