TransDock Deluxe

Many car accidents happen because of stupid things, like taking the eyes out of the road to play with the iPod to find a specific song. The TransDock Deluxe is here to solve that problem because while using it you can keep looking at the road and control the radio at the same time – it can’t get an easier than having a steering-wheel cradle to help you out.

Besides the special remote control it also includes a cool feature related with video files, basically you can watch the content from the iPod on the “in-car video system” thanks to an AV cable.

The AV-Out port can also be used with your cassette adapter or car-audio input for supreme audio transmission directly to your car stereo.

Price tag: $130.

The pricetag is a bit out of whack, but it is a clever bit of kit. Not sure how well I’d like it strapped to my steering wheel while navigating some twisting roads at 60+mph, but it would be worth a try I reckon. Neat item.
